What an honor to be asked by the Center for Women to help produce Anita Zucker's Birthday Reception and Dinner, helping to bring awareness to the Center for Women through this wonderful philanthropic icon. Well produced on a Thursday night to have drinks, dinner, three brief video presentations and a special "Happy Birthday" presentation by friend Garth Brooks via tape, our guests arrived at 6pm and left at 9pm. (Lots of "thumbs up" from the men!) The Charleston Marriott out did themselves with a perfect meal - A couscous salad with preserved lemon vinaigrette, tenderloin of beef dinners all perfectly medium rare, a THE most delicious iced lemon souffle with raspberry sauce.
The 20 speakers who were interviewed were each asked three questions, one of which was "Please give three words to describe Anita." These words were used on the black, white and red program (the event colors) as the cover.
